New Makeup Purchases | 31st May 2015 ♡

Apologies that I haven't posted for quite a while. For the first time in a long time I can say I have been sooooo busy and really just enjoying life. I have a full time job right now, I got accepted into University and I passed my driving test! Its all go at the moment.

I have been shopping a few times in an attempt to find dresses for two weddings I am going too, I found no dresses but I did buy a few new makeup items.

The first, and I think my favourite, product I picked up is the Rimmel London Lipstick from the Kate Collection in the shade 107.

Ive been so after a lovely red lipstick thats not too bright, just a simple red lip. This one has a nice simple matte finish which I top off with a little but of gloss over the top if I want to jazz it up a bittie. It stays on so long compared to others I have tried and is only £5.49 from Boots here.

As much as I love my Soap & Glory SuperCatFat Liquid Liner I wanted to get one that wasn't as thick to make a finer cat eye look. I picked up Maybelline's Master Precise Liquid Liner.  Its sooooo nice, really dark, really easy to draw with and is nice and long lasting on my eyes.

Buy from Boots here.

Another item for my eyes I also bought was Maybellines LINErefine EXPRESSION KAJAL pencil eyeliner in brown, something I have been after for whiley.

Basically, I used to wear black eyeliner religiously, never did my makeup without. Nowadays I can't remember the last time I wore eyeliner on my bottom lid and when I tried it a few weeks ago It just made my eyes faaaaaar to dark.

I had a brain wave and thought I would try a brown which is much softer looking than the black. I put it on for a night out a last weekend and I loved it! It really defines your eyes and adds an extra something to your look.

Clinique is one of my favourite brands. In their last gift bag that I received I got this tester version of their Lash Doubling Mascara.

I only use Mascara on a night out so Its actually something I haven't really experimented with much. However, compared to what Mascaras Ive used before, this is such a nice one.

It really lengthens your lashes and makes them stand out. It is also nice and long lasting, Ive found in the past that Mascara can give you epic panda eyes, this dosent. Im so tempted to buy the full version of this once I run out but I realise this is much more pricey than others on the market.

Buy from Boots here.

I picked up an old favourite of mine too which is the Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer in the shade Ivory. I wear the over the top of my foundation on any blemishes that can still be seen and under my eyes. I swear by this concealer, its just too amazing and again only £5.49.

Buy from Boots here.

Thats my recent purchases, sorry its not very much. Apologies again for my lack of blogging, busy life these days! Hopefully things have calmed down a bit now and I can write more.

Thank you for having a wee read, let me know some of your recent favourite purchases.

Current Hair Care Favourites | 11th May 2015 ♡

So lately I have been loving some new hair care products. You know when your hair is just not right and you need to change things up a bit, thats exactly what I did.

The first thing I tried out was the Herbal Essences Hello Hydration Shampoo and Conditioner. My hair was really static and had no life to it really and once trying out these products my hair is so much nicer.

They are scented with Coconut so they smell really fresh and summery and the smell sticks to your hair so you smell lovely all day long!

It also comes in these teenie wee travel sizes which I picked up from Primark and they are so handy for going away for the night or even on a proper holiday.

The next thing Ive been loving on my hair is the Aussie Miracle Recharge Take the Heat Conditioning Spray. I blow dry and straighten my every morning and then straighten my hair again later if Im going out or whatever, so its really important I protect it from the heat.

This product smells delicious and I feel has really made my hair feel better than it did before I started protecting it from the heat. It makes it feel light and bouncy and I love it.

The final item Ive been loving is John Frieda's Frizz Ease 6 EFFECTS Serum. I add one pump of this serum to the ends of my wet hair as soon as I come out the shower

This serum is made to eliminate frizz and leave your locks feeling silky smooth and looking glossy. I totally agree with that. I started using it a few weeks ago and went on a wee weekend away and forgot to take this with me and my hair definitely wasn't as soft as it was when using this.

If you are looking for some new hair care products to try I would highly recommend all of the above. Let me know any products you love and think I should try.

Everything you see here is available at Boots shops and the website here.

Thank you for reading.
