Happy New Year to you all and welcome to the new followers that joined us over the festive season!
Wedding planning is so much fun! The day we've been dreaming of is coming along a treat and its getting so exciting. We are having so much fun researching and looking into the things we really want and have booked so much already. We've booked our venue, extra accommodation, our evening food, catering and our photographer. Its all coming along nicely and we have big plans for the new year!
One thing I did want to do early on was officially ask my girlies to be bridesmaids.
Id always had it in my head to surprise them with a wee gift and that's exactly what I ended up doing.
I tricked them all and made up little bridesmaids proposal cards and told them they were save the dates. Their reactions were so lovely and made me even more happy Ive asked them to be by my side for the big day. The cards I printed off myself from Etsy, so easy to edit and make personal. I couldn't find the ones that I purchased but similar ones are available from DPJDesigns which are just as gorgeous with a huge mix of options.

Over on Etsy I also found a lovely little shop called Viola Mirabilis Design that do amazing graphics which you can personalise for things such as invitations, cards, wedding signs and all sorts.
I decided to purchase their wine bottle labels and stick these onto a mixture of Rose and Prosecco bottles for the girls. Really affordable and so easy to edit to make special for whoever you are giving them too. You can edit the fonts, colours and sizes that you want to print. I love the way everything turned out and have lots of ideas for the big day since creating these personalised bottles!

Etsy is the website I have been using for most of our wedding planning, along with Pinterest which will become your best friend when your getting married!
Hope you enjoyed this little wedding post and let me know how you asked your friends to be a part of your big day or any sites you think we all might find useful.
Happy New Year lovelies,
