Bruce Springsteen, The River Tour | June 2016

Bruce Springsteen is my idol. I admire him as a person, I adore his music, I cant get over his beautiful lyrics and seeing him live again made me love him even more.
Bruce toured in 2013 with The Wrecking Ball Tour which was when I first saw him live. He blew my mind! What a performer. So when I saw he was coming back to Scotland this year I was up at the crack of dawn when tickets went on sale and managed to grab myself two.

Bruce came to Glasgow Hampden Park on the 1st of June and absolutely smashed it!
He came onstage at about 6.45 and didn't go off until 10.15pm. No breaks or anything, he played continuously and was simply amazing from start to finish. This tour is for one of his older albums called The River, released originally in 1980. I think if you bought this album as a Bruce Springsteen newbie, you would know a lot of the songs. Its got some of his best on it in my opinion.

He sang the album from start to finish and then finished the night with a couple of his best known hits such as Glory Days, Born in the USA and my absolute all time favourite Dancing In The Dark. Hearing Dancing in the Dark live is just the best thing to me. Love love LOVE IT!!!

If you ever have the opportunity to see The Boss live I would suggest you do not miss out. He is simply wonderful and will give you a show that you will never forget.

Please come back to Scotland soon Bruce!!

Happy 10th Birthday Soap & Glory | May 2016 ♡

Happy 10th Birthday Soap & Glory!!

(Just some of my collection.... I cant stop buying Soap & Glory!)

Now its no surprise that Soap & Glory is one of my absolute favourite brands and I absolutely love all their bits and bobs. Today Soap & Glory turned 10, and to celebrate I thought I would share with you some of my favourite products of theirs from the makeup range, the skincare range and the bath and body range.  Enjoy ♡

A skincare product that I love from the range is Glow Job which is a sunkissed tinted moisturiser which you use in the morning to give you a beautiful sun kissed glow. I totally recommend this on hot sunny days where you don't want to apply a full face of makeup and just want to give you face a wee glow, I love it! When you apply it, it just sinks into your skin and you feel like their is nothing on your face yet you look like you've made an effort!

Another makeup fav from Soap & Glory for me is the Love at First Blush powder. This is gorgeous and I've repurchased several times! The pretty pink shades give your cheeks a lovely rosy glow and with the lighter shades I love to swipe them over my cheek bones for a bonnie highlight. This is my go to at the moment in these hot sunny days.

I love the Soap & Glory Brow Tint & Precision Pencil. I have it in the shade Dark Chocolate.
This pencil is so good at getting your eyebrows looking strong and defined without actually having to use very much product.  One end has a pencil that twists up and the other end has pen which fills your eyebrows beautifully. It lasts all day for me, even after applying when I get up for work at around 7am and don't take it off until later in the evening. So so sooooo good for getting your eyebrows looking classy!

Now, I have far to many bath and body products. The collection that Soap & Glory have is endless and I have such a hard time choosing! The ones you see here isn't even all of my collection as I have a couple of items over at my boyfriends too. I cant get enough!  I thought I would just tell you about my all time favourite shower gel which is Clean On Me. This smells so delightful and so fresh. It has a built in body lotion so when you dry yourself off after a shower your skin is honestly silky smooth. Whats great about these products too is the pump so you can sit it in your shower and its so easy to access at any point.

I cant wait to see what products are coming our way in the next 10 years Soap & Glory, your nailing it so far! Let me know some of your favourite products and what products you'd love to try.

Hope you have a lovely day,

Uni Year One, Done! | May 2016

So I survived the first year of my University Degree and handing in that final exam paper was such an amazing feeling!

I cant wait to spend the next few months reading books I want to read rather than need to read.  I cant wait to go to bed at reasonable times rather than the late night cramming sessions. I cant wait to binge watch netflix again and start a new tv series and spend evenings with my Bruce, friends and family when I want to without the feeling that I need to be working.

Although Im so thankful the year is over, Im also very proud of myself, I really am. Its been a really long 8 months in which so much has happened in my life and yet I've managed to stick to it and reach the end, for now.

My mum always wanted me to go to University and Im so thankful she got to see me start my course. When I lost her in November I didn't know how I would go on with Uni as I really struggled to focus.  Yet here I am at the end of my first year and more determined than ever to complete my degree!

If any of you are currently applying to get into University I would highly advise it. Getting to these points in the course are so so so worth all the stresses and in all honesty, I cant wait to start again in September!! Hope everyone who had final exams and assignments got on grand as well and to everyone who graduated, Congrats!!

Love Amy x
