There are lots and lots of ways to spend Valentines Day together. With February 14th just around the corner I thought I would share with you guys some of the ways I would love to spend Valentines Day or Evening together with my boy. This includes going out or staying in, spending some money or spending none at all.
Happy Valentines Day ♡
This is my personal favourite so I thought I would mention it first. When you and your loved one just want to chill and be alone together on Valentines Day/Evening, a cosy night in is perfect. Pick up some of your favourite snacks, anything you fancy munching on throughout the night. Chocolates, popcorn, crisps all the guilty pleasures. Or if you want to go a bit more healthy chopped up fruit & veg with some dips is a nice alternative. If you fancy a drink, a wee bottle of wine, couple of beers or even make something like cocktails, smoothies or milkshakes. Do something a bit different. Grab a duvet and some pillows and set up a big comfy area on the sofa or even in bed, get cosy and watch some of your favourite movies. I honestly love love love doing this!
Road Trip
Jumping in the car and driving with no idea where your going or having a plan can be a really nice and exciting way to spend your Valentine's Day. If your lucky enough to live in a place like I do where the scenery is beautiful and your close to beaches and things why not go somewhere you wouldn't usually go. Walk, talk and have a laugh together. For the car remember some snacks, maybe some juice and a playlist that the two of you love. Singing in the car with Bruce is so much fun for me and Im sure loads of you love it too. If you feel like it, make a weekend of it. Find a B n B or a wee hotel to spend the night in. We drove the four hour journey to Skye last year for Valentines Day, stayed the night and drove home a different route the next day. It was incredible, and the scenery was so gorgeous that we stopped a few times just to take it all in. (Picture Below)

Cinema
You cant go wrong with a wee cinema date. We live quite a bit away from a cinema so its something we don't do too often, its quite a treat when we go. Pick a film the two of you are really wanting to see, stock up on the popcorn, sweeties and massive fizzy juice that you can never finish and enjoy. Some films out at the moment are Zoolander 2 if you fancy a giggle along with Dirty Grandpa, Daddys Home and Dads Army (Which I cant wait to see). For something a bit more intense you could consider The Revenant or Point Break. Go for something different, I dare yah!

Dinner Date
If there is somewhere that you both love to go for dinner or a place your both wanting to try out then why not treat yourselves to a special meal. I love getting the opportunity to get all dressed up and spending the evening with some food and a wee glass of wine. If you don't fancy going out you could even cook up a storm at home, sit down at the kitchen table and have equally as much fun. Having dinner together is a fantastic opportunity to relax and have a right good chit chat.
