Zoella Beauty Jelly & Gelato | July 2017 ♡

Once again, Zoe Sugg has released a new range of Zoella Beauty products and they are fabulous!
Just the packaging alone is stunning, such lovely pastel colours and patterns and the attention to detail, as always with Zoella products, is spot on. This range is absolutely perfect for summer and is a gorgeous mix of elderflower and pomegranate scents. The range is based on some of your summer ice cream van favourites which is just too cute!

I didn't pick up the bath items as I don't have a bath! It would be silly for me to review those products without being able to use them!

My favourite part of all Zoe's collections is her Body Mists. The Tutti Frutti mist is still one of my favourites but this year, I think she may have topped it.
The Gelat'Eua Body Mist is a light, fresh and gorgeous scent that smells of every Elderflower lovers dream. Instead of wearing a heavy perfume day to day I love to spritz a mist over myself, the scents stay throughout the day and don't wear off like many body mists do.

The Shower Sauce leaves you feeling so fresh and clean after use and having used it a few times now, I can honestly say the scent stays on your skin. The Shower Shake (how awesome is the bottle) is a Moisturising Body wash which you apply whilst in the shower which cleanses and moisturises your skin leaving it soft and silky.

In this range their is an absolutely gorgeous Body Cream called the Body Pudding. Take a good dollop of this and massage it into your skin which helps to brighten and tone. In the formula their are little pink sprinkles which release the elderflower and pomegranate scents as you massage it into your skin. I think this is my favourite thing in this beautiful collection and have been using it daily.

The Creamy Scrub body scrub is another one to use in the shower. Work it into wet skin and wash off leaving the skin with a super soft finish. The gorgeous mix of polishing sprinkles and rich cream helps to brighten and tone your skin.

All the products I purchased, plus the two bath items and the Jelly and Gelato Beauty Clutch are available at Superdrug and Feel Unique and are so affordable.

Body Mist - £8
Shower Shake - £6
Shower Sauce - £5
Body Pudding - £8
Cream Body Scrub - £8
Bath Milk - £7
Bath Wafers - £5
Beauty Clutch - £14

Thanks once again to Zoe for bringing your fantastic ideas to life and making another beautiful collection. If you haven't tried out or had a wee look at her collection, this one and the other few she has, I recommend you do. The products are so simple yet amazing.

Thank you for reading, hope you all have a lovely weekend.

'Wilde Like Me' by Louise Pentland | July 2017 ♡

Having finished Wilde Like Me in just over a couple of days, I can honestly say its my favourite book I have read this year so far.

First off, if your unaware of Louise Pentland, she is a blogger, vlogger, youtuber and super mama who has captured the hearts of over 2 million subscribers online.  She is absolutely hilarious and if you haven't checked out her online world, I highly recommend you do.

However, she has just recently released her first novel called Wilde Like Me. I was so excited to read this novel purely hoping that it would be as funny and charming as Lousie herself. I wasn't let down!

Wilde Like Me follows the story of single mum Robin Wilde who lives in her grannies old house with her six year old daughter Lyla Blue. Being alone is getting to her though and she craves the comfort of a companion, a man in her life for herself and little Lyla.

The book follows her trying to find love whilst balancing everyday mum life, her friends and her job. Its such a relatable, funny and heartwarming story that is so hard to put down.
There were so many points where I found myself laughing out loud, wether it was by Robin herself and some of her hilarious thoughts and actions or if it was some of the incredible one liners from little Lyla Blue. There are also some really lovely moments in this book that makes your heart feel so full. It certainly is a bit of a roller coaster of emotions in this book but I feel thats what makes it so fresh and real. A huge part of me is hoping for a part two of this story!

Well done Louise on a truly awesome debut novel. It was definitely worth all your hard work and effort that you put into writing it.

Its available at the moment for only £4.99 on Amazon!
Wilde Like Me (Hardcover)

If any of you have read Wilde Like Me let me know below you reviews on it and if you have read any similar books like this that you think I would enjoy!

A New Look | July 2017 ♡

If you have been reading my blog for a wee whiley now, you'll notice that I have given it a wee bit of a freshen up.  At the start of the summer holidays I decided with myself that I would try and blog more often and with content that I personally love. Along with this I wanted my wee blog to look a little more professional, more appealing and, well, prettier!

Last week I reached 200 followers, 200! That so exciting! Reaching this milestone encouraged me to revamp my wee blog and make it much more exciting for you all to read.
Thank you so much to Phil at pipdig.co for making my blog look so lovely and for all the help they gave me whilst doing it up. If you have a blog of your own that you want to jazz up a little I would highly recommend their templates and services.

So here it is, my new and improved corner of the internet.
I hope you enjoy having a little look around. Im planning lots of posts over the next few months, outfit posts, book reviews, beauty bits and anything I fancy posting whilst Uni is over for the summer! Let me know what you think and if you have anything you would like me to post about.

Thank you again for reading and following my wee blog.
I very much appreciate it.

Current Skincare Favourites | July 2017 ♡

Its been my mission lately to look after my skin more. Im one of those girls that  usually takes my makeup off before bed with a face wipe and moisturises only when I rarely remember too. Over the past few months I have tried to be religious about my skincare and have already noticed such a difference with my skin. Today I thought I would share with you the four products I have been using and why I love them so much. Everything I use is drugstore and won't put a dent in your purse.

As a wee treat, Ive been enjoying the L'Oreal Pure Clay Detox Mask. This mask is designed to draw out impurities in the skin and I find by using it once or twice a week, it makes my foundation glide on better without the oils in my skin taking over. I apply the mask all over the face with a foundation brush and leave it for five to ten minutes until most of the mask is dry. I then wash of with warm water and my skin honestly feels sooooo soft!
If you want to try some of the other masks in the range you can also pick up the Pure Clay Glow Mask and the Pure Clay Purity Mask all currently in Boots for £5.99.

Each morning once I've washed and cleansed my face I like to apply The Body ShopVitamin E Moisture Cream for all skin types. Im currently using one I got in last years beauty calendar as I've run out of my main one. This moisturiser is designed to protect and lock in moisture to hydrate your skin throughout the day (48 Hours) leaving it feeling silky soft which I can say is totally true. This is a bit pricier but is worth every penny in my opinion. The 50ml pot retails for £13.

Botanics is a range I've recently discovered and started trying out. Their Micellar 3 in 1 Cleansing Solution has been the perfect way for me to take of my makeup in the evening. This micellar water dissolves your makeup, unclogs pores and removes impurities.
What I love is it has no scent, meaning you really get to smell the moisturiser of your choice. I take a small amount of this on a cotton pad and remove my makeup leaving my skin feeling really fresh and ready to apply the rest of my skincare.
Whats great about this range, its super cheap and this 250ml bottle will only set you aside £5.49.

If in the evening I feel like my skin isn't at its best I like to clean my face really well and then apply the Boots Tea Tree & Witch Hazel Night Treatment Gel. This gel works throughout the night to help prevent and fight spots. It dries really quickly and Im pretty positive has prevented breakouts for me when I have a wedding or an event I'm going too. It also smells incredible. I also love the facial wipes from this range as well and its so inexpensive. This night gel is only £3.29 for 75ml.

Let me know if your have any favourite skincare products that maybe you think I should try. Thank you for taking the time to read.

Tanya Burr's Latest Collections | July 2017 ♡

Whenever Tanya releases new products I find myself buying them before I even know what I'm doing! She has released two collections recently, the Neutral Ambiance Collection and the  Chasing the Sun Collection.
The other day I put in a wee Superdrug order for some of the bits and pieces. I thought I would share with you some of the things I have picked up from the new collection and some of my old favourites from Tanya that I tend to use daily.

The Neutral Ambiance Collection included the release of two brand new eyeshadow palettes. These were the My Escape palette and the My Paradise palette. Both stunning but I decided to go for the My Paradise palette as I knew I would get so much more use from it. This collection also included two new lipsticks, Bear Hug & Sunday Walk.

The newest collection, Chasing The Sun, includes brand new products which are so exciting. Tanya has released three Illuminating Powders which come in the shades Champagne, Peonies and Bronze. Three lovely lip balms that come in Lime Pie, Milkshake and Blackberry Coulis and finally, two amazing contour sticks in Light and Dark shades. Everything is so affordable and such good quality and from past experience, lasts such a long time.

Sunday Walk      Bear Hug

My Paradise Eyeshadow Palette

Having used the products for a couple of days now I can tell you that I'm completely obsessed with the Bear Hug Lipstick and the My Paradise eyeshadow palette, there both perfect for everyday and evening looks. Also the lip balm is so refreshing on your lips. I do wish I had gone for the darker contour stick to get some serious contour action on the go. Im loving mixing one of my old favourites of hers,  the face illuminator,  with my tinted moisturiser for a daily healthy glow. Last but not least, the illuminating powder is incredible, its one of the best drugstore highlighters Ive used for a long time!

Thank you for taking the time to read my little blog post, hope your all having a lovely day.
All these products are available online at Superdrug and in most stores.

Baby Shower (Baking Cupcakes) | June 2017 ♡

We surprised one of my good friends with a mini baby shower. It was such a lovely little night full of great food, laughs and a lot of excitement for the wee toot we are going to meet very soon!

I made some Vanilla Cupcakes from a Mary Berry Recipe which I love,

175g Butter
175g Flour
175g Caster Sugar
1/2 tbsp Baking Powder
1/2 tbsp Vanilla Extract
2-3 tbsp Milk (If Needed)
3 Large Eggs

Mix everything together in a bowl and bake until golden for about 15-20 minutes.
I cheated a bit and got some already made icing but put in some pink food colouring to make it more special for the occasion.

I got the boxes to put them in from Morrisons which meant they could be taken home at the end of the evening. The cake topper decorations were from Amazon, as were the napkins and paper plates.
Cake Toppers
Paper Plates
Napkins
Girl Balloons
Baby Balloons

We ordered in pizza and chips, stuck on the music channels and had a super fun night of giggles. Nights like this make me feel so lucky to have this friendship group around me.

Show me some of your baby shower ideas and if you have one coming up soon I really hope you enjoy!

Wedding GRWM | July 2017 ♡

Hello Wedding Season,

We had the most wonderful time at one of our friends weddings over the weekend. It was a day full of fun, love and laughter. The bride and groom looked so lovely and we got to have so much fun with everyone there, I could do it all over again!

I thought I would write a wee post just showing you guys what I wore for the day as I feel these kind of posts really helped me in my struggle of what to wear myself!

I was struggling to find a dress for this wedding. However, I found Chi Chi London clothing on Instagram and decided to send away for a couple of their dresses to try on and found this one, love it!
For a wedding I like to make my hair a little different. On this occasion I curled it using my GHD straighteners to get some waves using Aussie Hairspray to hold it in place all day.
I wanted my makeup to be quite neutral and simple but with a sparkle to it for this special occasion. I based it all on pink shades as I felt that went best with the florals in my dress.

Soap & Glory Archery Brow (Dark Chocolate)
Tarte Swamp Queen Palette
Rimmel Lipstick (Asia)
Lottie London Blush (Zac)

In a mad rush I purchased my shoes from Quiz and my pashmina from Accessorize which finished off the look. I think Bruce looked ever so smart too, I felt like the luckiest girl in the world.

Shoes

I have two more weddings this year so if you enjoyed this post I shall be sure to do the same for them. Thank you for taking the time to read, feel free to get in touch with any questions and let me know what outfits you guys are wearing throughout the wedding season.
